A position is available for a School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within an educational setting. This role involves working closely with school staff, students, and families to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development. The position is based near Rochester, MN, and includes opportunities for travel between school locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding behavioral management and mental health strategies.
- Deliver counseling and intervention services to students as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Appropriate licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments in school settings.
- Strong knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel between school locations as needed.
